Quilting

Quilting. You might say that it's for old ladies and a waste of time. I seriously beg to differ. You should see the amazing works of art that my fellow quilters and I produce. I can give you brief quilter biographies, links to some of my favourite quilting pages, be it for artist, fabric or patterns. Leave me requests for tutorials or advice, and I will do what I can to guide you in the right direction.

I will keep you updated along my journey of quilting. Of course, all true quilters have UFO's and I am no stranger to that. I've been really good to try to stick to just one project at a time, but lately that has gotten away from me.

Keep checking back, I'll update my projects soon ☺

Common Thread Quilt Guild. This is the link to my guild's homepage. I have only just joined, but I have really enjoyed all the meetings and events so far, and I look forward to being with them for a long while.

Beaconsfield Quilter's Guild. This is the guild in my hometown, of which my mother has been a member for a long time. I have done the occasional workshop, and participated in a show, but I now live a distance away, and have my own guild to grow into.

Camira Designs. This is the website of an amazingly talented quilter and sewer. She favours machine quilting, but mostly loves piecing. Camira is in the process now of starting a business (currently only locally) of making purses and bags of all different shapes, sizes, styles, colours and functions.

Twizzelle. This is Colleen Paul's website for professional quilting. She is accepting projects to be quilted. Please contact her via the information of her website. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Originellies. Originellies' Blog. These are two of the websites of Nellie Holmes of Originellies. I saw a trunk show presentation at my guild, and thought she was fabulous. I have also purchased and made a few of her patterns, and really enjoyed it.

Deborah Kemball. I am a huge fan of Deborah Kemball's work. I love applique, and viewing her work is truly like stepping into Quilters Narnia!

Amy Butler. I love her fabric. She has so many different patters and collections, and the colours are always so bright and happy.
